Sooooo.... we got engaged! ;o)

Finally!!! LOL

No ring yet, but I came home to find a ton of sticky notes strewn around the house. On the front door, on the bathroom mirror, on top of my contacts case, inside my glasses case, on my water jug on the nightstand, inside the cabinet door in kitchen, on the milk jug in fridge, on top of toilet lid, on the shower curtain, 2 on the computer desk, on the door to downstairs, and one under the tv remote. It was a hoot, lol! Everywhere I went I just kept finding them! I asked what that was all about and then I looked online.... Chris had changed our statuses on Facebook. ;o)

We had talked about getting married for a while now. I even mentioned as a joke the other day that we should change out stuff online and see what would happen. ;oP But I dismissed that and said, "If I know you at all, I think one day you'll just up and ask me and we'll just go get married on a whim... I mean, we already want to be together for life anyway, right?" I guess I was right in one respect... So we didn't run off and get married yet, but he did up and ask me for real. ;o)

So 3 1/2 years after the first time we saw each other, I guess he made up his mind finally,lol... I mean, we do have obstacles to get through; medical stuff, family junk to deal with, etc... but I figure it this way; if we can't handle the tough stuff together,(and there's been our fair share of crap and hell to deal with already), then what good are we with the good stuff, ya know? But hey, I'd be happy either way, with or out without a ring... it's the commitment that means everything. Not a piece of paper... ;o)

  4. I know this is a month late for me to post this, but congrats again! Let me know when it is and I'll be there! And even if you end up not getting married you two are soulmates forever.
